Hotel Indigo San Diego Del Mar By Ihg

Great room for only $20 extra a night for the upgrade. Good value for money and good location, 10 mins walk from beach, restaurants and shops and just 20 min drive to Seaworld in San Diego, the other beach towns are very close as well. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Del Mar.

There was quite a bit of building work going on and we had our water cut on the last day although we were given another room to shower in so not a problem but there were alot of workmen around and drilling on saturday etc wasn't great. April is considered 'out of season' hence building work/maintenance was going on in a few hotels we stayed at.

Very good experience there. Quirky and clean place, professional and attentive staff. Lovely building and rooms with a view. Paid US$ 284. Clean pool, parking on site. Unbeatable and nice location, walking distance to everywhere.

Spacious room and bathroom with bathtub. Good location and enough parking. Wonderful staff--very accommodating, especially Barbara. Good breakfast and plenty of food. Great location with easy access to Del Mar, Solano Beach and La Jolla. Would definitely stay again.

We were not told that the room we booked had construction in the adjoining patio, however, the workman were fairly quiet early in the morning. There were kids running around the wooden decks in front of our room early one morning. Plumbing is noisy in the bathrooms.

The location was the reason why I selected the hotel, but I was not informed about a big construction project. I woke up at 7:00 A.M. or so to the sound of bulldozers and construction trucks. What made up for the discomfort of sound and dust was the understanding of the staff. A lovely lady called Barbara at the front desk apologized for the comfort level and applied a reasonable discount to my bill. More than anything her treatment of the matter made an impression on me. For this very reason, I will stay back again at the Stratford Inn.

The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach. Staff greeted us with cute treats for our dog!

the staff was fabulous... i had special needs due to a recent knee injury,and they accommodated me in every way, even though it was a lot to ask.... needed a bathtub, etc. Very appreciative...

Room was too close to front and noisy

Great place for the price for family. We had two of our children/grandchildren families stay there and they loved it.

Completely renovated hotel with charme. Nice location with Ocean View and close to the beach. Friendly staff.

This hotel was simply first class in every aspect. All the staff were also fabulous as are so friendly and simply wanting to help you have a great stay.

Perhaps a hotel shuttle to take you short distances. i.e local tennis courts? Perhaps more services or options if you wante to partisipate in sporting activities. i.e if you are interested in tennis then a set process that a traveller could take the shuttle to the free tennis courts down the road?

Couple's Retreat Worth It

Had a terrific birthday stay-our room had an ocean view. The outdoor area was great. Just chilling out there with drinks reminded me of paradise, y'know?

Certainly, not a bargain but still decent for what you get.

It was very laid back but the rooms were nice in the new section.

The look of the lobby and that there was no restaurant and bar.

The place was super clean!! The Staff was sooo polite and helpful. Amazing location and I felt like i got a great deal!!!

Great getaway with friendly service!

The tropical ambiance makes you feel like you're in paradise! Enjoyed breakfast by the pool, and the staff made sure our needs were met, even with our dog. Don't miss the sunset from the terrace, an lovely experience! Request a room with the kitchen if you can.
